Here comes the bittersweet love story of Rhea Chakraborty and Varun Mitra. A Mahesh Bhatt presentation, Jalebi’s trailer will keep you interested till the end. The film also stars Bigg Boss fame contestant, Digangna Suryavanshi.

Set in the backdrop of purani Dilli, the trailer starts with Rhea and Varun falling in love with each other. The two get married and eventually differences start cropping-up in their relationship, as Rhea desires to get out Varun’s paternal home, for a better lifestyle. Check out the trailer below:


A few days back, makers released the poster of the film which also created headlines as it was copied from a Korean war photo. Jalebi’s poster sees Rhea hanging out of a train window, as Varun kissed her. The Korean war photo was just the same, as it showed a soldier hanging out to kiss his wife goodbye before setting out on his journey. It was clicked by the former Los Angeles Times photographer, Frank Q Brown. Mahesh Bhatt shared the poster with a caption, "In this changing shifting world where the old stories have collapsed and no new story has yet emerged to replace them, comes a story of everlasting love. Here is the #Jalebiposter (sic)."


Talking more about the film, which begins from ‘happily ever after’, has been directed by Pushpdeep Bhardwaj. As Mahesh Bhatt’s movies are known for its impeccable music, the filmmaker has once again got famous composer Tanishk Bagchi, Javed – Mohsin and Jeet Gannguli on board. The film is slated to hit theatres on Oct 12.
